Archelle Georgiou, MD

Dr. Archelle Georgiou is a physician and healthcare leader who empowers people to make informed medical decisions. With over 16 years as a TV health journalist, she has produced more than 1000 segments simplifying complex healthcare information and hosts the podcast "Speak Up For Your Health."

In her 30+ year career, Archelle has held senior leadership positions across healthcare sectors, including Chief Medical Officer at UnitedHealth Group, healthcare advisor for TripleTree, and Chief Health Officer at Starkey Hearing Technologies. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota and as Executive in Residence at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.

During COVID-19, Archelle co-founded the University of Minnesota COVID-19 Hospitalization Tracking Project, collecting data across all 50 states. This public health initiative resulted in 11 peer-reviewed publications and earned two silver Stevie awards. She has shared her healthcare expertise with the US Congress, World Bank, Mayo Clinic, and other leading organizations.

Archelle is recognized as a healthcare industry leader, receiving awards including the Women's Health Leadership Trust Forum Award for transforming healthcare and the Women in Business Award. She holds a degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and was board-certified in Internal Medicine.
